They provide the specific types of nutrients that tadpoles need in the early and then later stages of their development. So you can help to maintain a healthy amphibian population in your garden pond.
Ecopond Tadpole Food is a vegetable based food. It is formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the early stages of development. (Up to the point where they develop back legs – 4 to 6 weeks after free swimming begins).
Ecopond Late Stage Tadpole Food is a high protein food. It is formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the later stages of development when they have developed back legs. (Approximately 6 weeks after free swimming begins).
Just sprinkle a pinch of the appropriate food on the surface of the pond once a day.
