Mud Muncher

Mud Muncher uses micro-organisms to digest organic matter such as fish waste, fallen leaves and decaying aquatic plants.  These can otherwise cause a build up of sludge.  This sludge reduces the water clarity and quality and leads to nutrient build up which encourages algae and duckweed growth. Mud Muncher can be used in conjunction with Barley-bio Algae Control and Duckweed Control throughout the Summer to reduce algae and duckweed problems.  Use in Autumn to degrade falling leaves and decaying plants, in Spring to reduced any build up of decaying matter and in Summer to reduce the sludge in a dirty looking pond.   It is best to use it when pond water temperature is above 8 degrees to ensure effective microbial activity.

Dosage: 50 ml per 4,500 litres/week in autumn, 20 ml per 4,500 litres/fortnight in spring/summer.
